Through her experience as Founder and Operator of Brandy Winters Massage Therapy based in Oklahoma City, OK since 1999, Brandy has developed an understanding that most people create their own aches and pains through habitual poor posture and poor movement habits. She feels blessed to have been introduced to studio Pilates in 2005, and learn a form of exercise which works from the inside out to correct faulty movement patterns and posture alignments.
The personal benefit she receives from this revolutionary method allows her the physical freedom to fully enjoy her favorite pastimes of snow boarding, jogging and horseback riding. Her increased ease of mobility and diminished body aches inspire Brandy to encourage everyone to participate in the Pilates Method and she has declared to learn as much as she possibly can.
In 2007, she completed the Polestar Pilates Studio Instructor training program in Denver, Colorado, receiving certification inclusive of Mat, Barrel, Cadillac, Chair and Reformer apparatus.
Brandy is dedicated to expanding her knowledge of The Pilates Method and refining her teaching skills. She is currently pursuing a second comprehensive instructor certification through Balanced Body University and has participated in many diverse continuing education workshops and opportunities.
